Professor Daniel Schwarz will speak after Shabbat services on Holocaust narratives – Night, The Diary of Anne Frank, Maus, and Schindler's List – and discuss how the treatment of the Holocaust in memoirs, diaries, novels, and imaginative forms has evolved.
Schwarz will also be speaking at the Community Library on Thursday, July 24th at 6:00pm on his book Endtimes? Crises and Turmoil at the New York Times.
Schwarz is the Frederick J. Whiton Professor of English Literature and Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow at Cornell University, where he has taught since 1968.
