Jewish Worship in the Wood River Valley

prayer book3.jpeg

Worship at our Congregation is a vibrant and joyous experience. We welcome all who come through our doors, and take pride in an egalitarian service, designed to inspire and energize, to provide time for contemplation and to create a communal worship experience.

Because our Jewish community is relatively small, we try to incorporate music and prayers which are familiar to those who embrace both the Reform and Conservative traditions. We are the only Jewish congregation in the Wood River Valley.

Our Rabbi is also a Cantor—so music is very important in our services.

Our Rabbi is part-time, so we also depend on our congregants to lead Shabbat services.

We are in the process of building a permanent home for our Community.  For more than 20 years, we have worshipped at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Ketchum.  The view behind the Bimah to the mountains is inspiring.

During the summer, we try to have as many Shabbat services as possible outdoors, at our members’ houses or at the Botanical Garden.  We live in the mountains by choice—and our members enjoy immersing themselves in the scenery of the Wood River Valley.

Our doors are open. If you wish time for private contemplation or a moment with the Rabbi, you are welcome. Come join us.
