We hope that you and your families are well. The upcoming High Holidays are a rewarding and spiritual time for the families of our congregation and our guests.
We look forward to you joining us to worship together and welcome this New Year with the Wood River Jewish Community.
As you know, attendance at the High Holy Day services is a benefit of your membership and there is no fee for your family’s tickets. Our suggested donation for non-members and guests is $250 for families and $150 for individuals. If you need to pay this year’s membership dues you can do so at www.wrjc.org.
With any questions, please contact our Executive Director Claudie Goldstein at email@example.com.
Please DONATE to pay your fees.
Instructions for the High Holy Days
The High Holiday services will be held at Festival Meadows under a tent. We have taken this step out of an abundance of caution given the Covid situation in Idaho and in the valley.
The tent is open sided and we are requiring that you be fully vaccinated to attend, and that we are all masked throughout the service. This policy allows even the most vulnerable and cautious amongst us to come and be part of our communal prayer.
We will be able to utilize the parking areas at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic church. The tent can be accessed through the opening in the log fence adjacent to the parking lot. We will also be allowed to park cars on the west side of Sun Valley road, but not the east side.
We will not have heaters in the tent, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
There will be two porta potties accessible from the far side of the meadow.
We are thrilled to offer in person services this year, albeit with these modifications. The important thing for us is to celebrate and pray together as a community once again.
