Flying Latkes Youth Hockey

The Wood River Jewish Community is excited to support the Idaho-Wyoming-Montana Flying Latkes, an all-Jewish U17 & U15 Ice Hockey team featuring teens from Sun Valley, Jackson, & Bozeman. These kids will be competing in the JCC Maccabi Games in Toronto in Summer 2026. Founded in 2024, the Flying Latkes brings together Jewish hockey players from across the region to represent the “Mountain Jews” on the ice. They were the sole representatives of the Mountain Region at the 2025 JCC Maccabi Games in Pittsburgh and return for the gold this summer.
Hockey is the sport that requires the most support, so the Idaho Flying Latkes are raising funds to cover training, travel, ice time, uniforms, housing, fees, and other costs related to attending the JCC Maccabi Games in Toronto, August 1-7, 2026.
Since the demand for Flying Latkes merchandise has boiled over, with any donation of $100 or more, you can purchase any swag at cost.
To order Latkes merchandise, make your donation of $100+ and add $25 per hat, $60 per sweatshirt, and/or $95 per Hockey Jersey to the total. Please include sizing on sweatshirts and jerseys, and your USPS shipping address. All merchandise will ship before May 31st, and we will follow up with all orders in May before delivery.
